Whitney & Rohan married in the quaint and historic town of Berrima, nestled in the lovely Southern Highlands, NSW. Their vision of a romantic garden inspired wedding in whites & neutrals - with accents of blush, nudes and muted caramels that played off the sandstone walls in their wedding chapel Saint Francis Xavier, Berrima and the warm natural timber within their wedding venue, Bendooley Estate, Book Barn. Whitney wore her lace sleeve Abbey Bridal gown like royalty and Rohan channelling James Bond in his Suit ensemble by Suit Supply. Hilary Cam Photography captured every little moment of laughter and sincerity throughout the day. The bridal party enjoyed espresso martini’s while being photographed amongst the extensive grounds of Bendooley Estate. The rolling hills, vineyards, forest and vine draped walls is encapsulated all within this phenomenal property.
While the bridal party enjoyed their espresso martinis, their guests were greeted by delicious canapés of oysters & Rose' as they looked over the lake of Bendooley.
As the sun set the guests made their way back to the book barn reception, eagerly awaiting for the bridal party to arrive.
The Book Barn was transformed from a humble book bard into a garden inspired hide away. Elevated centrepieces of rambling flowers caught your eye as you entered the room. They were complimented by stacked vintage books, with crystal bud vases dripping with generous amounts of flowers. Ambiance was created with cut glass votives & dinner candles. Generous amounts of Roses were used in a number of varieties, in memory of Whitney's dear Nanna Rose.
Guests were treated with Bendooley’s signature share-plates (this is the option we recommend), music by XYDJ and spoiled by a late-night dessert station in-between dancing. What a day!
